Hønefoss Ungdomskorps (HUK) is a concert band / wind ensemble in the city of Hønefoss, Norway.

The band was established in 1932. HUK is aiming to be the musically leading band in the region.  Translated “Ungdomskorps” means “youth band”, and the members are surely “youthful”, even if some of the musicians are over 70 years old(young). The band consists of approximately 40 enthusiastic amateur musicians.

Hønefoss Ungdomskorps holds each year several traditional concerts in the local district. The repertory covers nearly all styles, from classical music via folk music to pop and jazz, and of course marches, which are very popular among the local audience. The band has played with several well known Norwegian musicians like Stian Carstensen, Per Vollestad, Ole Edvard Antonsen, Terje Rypdal and Brazz Brothers to mention a few. During the years the band has participated in a number of different festivals and competitions in Norway and abroad. The band has also given concerts broadcasted on national radio (NRK).
